What are suggested events and to-dos?
HiFi looks for plans and tasks in each call and suggests them in Call Details. For example, if a caller mentions a meeting next Tuesday, HiFi can suggest a calendar event. If you agree to call someone back, HiFi can suggest a to-do.
Suggestions appear in two kinds of cards:
Event Found: a date and time HiFi picked up from the call.
To-do Created: a task HiFi picked up from the call.
Nothing is added to your calendar or reminders until you choose to add it.
Add an event to your calendar
On Home, tap the call in Call Activity to open Call Details.
Find the Event Found card.
Tap Add to calendar.
If HiFi asks for access to your calendar, allow it.
HiFi confirms with Event added to calendar. The event now appears in your phone’s calendar app.
To paste the event details somewhere else instead, tap Copy event.
Set a reminder from a to-do
On Home, tap the call in Call Activity to open Call Details.
Find the To-do Created card.
On iPhone: Tap Add to Reminders. On Android: Tap Set reminder.
HiFi confirms with Reminder set for followed by the time. To remove the reminder, tap Cancel reminder.
Dismiss a suggestion you don’t need
Dismiss a suggested event in Call Details when you don’t need it.
On Home, tap the call in Call Activity to open Call Details.
On the Event Found card, tap Dismiss.
The event card goes away and HiFi shows Event deleted. If you dismissed it by mistake, tap Undo right away to bring it back.
Dismissing a suggestion removes the card from HiFi. It doesn’t change anything in your calendar.
Troubleshooting
Add to calendar doesn’t work, or HiFi says it needs access: HiFi doesn’t have permission to use your calendar. Open your phone’s Settings, find HiFi, and allow calendar access. On Android, the steps vary by phone manufacturer. Usually you go to Settings > Apps > HiFi > Permissions.
You can’t find an event or to-do with search: Search on Home doesn’t include events or reminders. Open the call in Call Activity to find them.
A call doesn’t have any suggestions: HiFi suggests events and to-dos only when it finds a plan or a task in the call.
