Tell HiFi about your business

What is the Business Profile?

The Business Profile is where you give HiFi information about your business so it can answer common caller questions for you. When a caller asks, HiFi can tell them:

  • The services you offer.

  • The areas you serve.

  • Your physical location or address.

  • Your hours for each day of the week.

HiFi shares only the information you enter. If a caller asks for something that isn’t in your profile, HiFi can take a message so you can follow up.

Set up your Business Profile

  1. On Home, tap the profile button in the top corner to open Account & settings.

  2. Under Phone preferences, tap Business Profile. The screen says “Help HiFi represent your business.”

  3. Enter the services you offer.

  4. Enter the areas you serve, such as cities, neighborhoods, or ZIP codes.

  5. Enter your business location or address.

  6. Set your hours for each day of the week.

  7. Save your profile.

You can fill in only the parts that apply to you. For example, a mobile business might add service areas but skip the address.

Update your Business Profile

Update your Business Profile whenever your details change, such as holiday hours or a new service area. HiFi uses the updated information on future calls.

  1. On Home, tap the profile button in the top corner to open Account & settings.

  2. Under Phone preferences, tap Business Profile.

  3. Change the details you want to update.

  4. Save your changes.

How do I write a helpful Business Profile?

Write your details the way you’d say them to a customer on the phone. HiFi uses them when it talks to callers, so plain language works best.

  • List services in simple terms, such as “drain cleaning, water heater repair.”

  • Name the areas you serve the way customers know them.

  • Keep your hours current, including days you’re closed.
