Turn off call forwarding

How do I turn off call forwarding in HiFi?

Turn off call forwarding in Account & settings. HiFi helps you send your carrier the code to stop forwarding.

  1. On Home, tap the profile button in the top corner.

  2. Tap Call forwarding status.

  3. Tap Disable.

  4. Follow the steps on screen.

On iPhone: If HiFi asks you to place a call to your carrier, tap the call button. On Android: HiFi sends the request for you. For Verizon, Xfinity Mobile, Tracfone, and Spectrum, HiFi opens your dialer with the code filled in, and you tap the call button.

When forwarding is off, Call forwarding status shows Disabled. Calls to your number ring your phone’s built-in Phone app again, and HiFi no longer screens or answers them.

How do I turn off call forwarding without HiFi?

If HiFi isn’t installed, dial your carrier’s off code in your phone’s built-in Phone app.

When do I need to turn off call forwarding?

Turn off call forwarding before you do any of these things. Otherwise, your calls keep going to HiFi instead of ringing your phone.

  • Uninstall HiFi. Deleting the app doesn’t turn off forwarding at your carrier.

  • Let your subscription end. Without a subscription, HiFi can’t pass calls to you.

  • Get a new HiFi number. HiFi asks you to turn off forwarding before you can claim one.

  • Delete your HiFi account. HiFi asks you to turn off forwarding first, and offers to dial the code for you.

  • Switch carriers. Turn it off with your old carrier. If you keep using HiFi, set it up again with the new one.
